The following pages contain primarily the descendants of Antonius Bensinger (born circa 1720).
Specifically those of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
We are enthusiastic to welcome any Bensinger descendant or anyone else with an interest in Schuylkill
County history. Many other family names can be found here as well.

I had to change my e-mail due to spammers. Please substitute "@" for "at" and no spaces. Thank you, Dave Smith
Pour yourself a cup o' Java, grab that Shoo-Fly-Pie, come on in and jawbone for awhile. But check back often or schedule visits with friends because we're usually out surfin' the boneyards and some say we're NEVER home!

and Annie Laura Karchner Bensinger; and the wife of George S. Webb
Many others have helped tremendously to provide
insight and content, all contributions are acknowledged.
We have started this page primarily for the convenience
and use of Bensinger descendants to share information about photos they may have but cannot identify.
Eventually, I would hope to find the time to expand it into a Bensinger Family Home Page complete
with Guestbooks, Family histories, Forums, original certificates etc.
To this end I will accept E-mailed input, and post it as soon as possible.
Limitations:
While you are entirely welcome to view, download and use the files and pictures for your own use,
in the interest of quality control we ask that you PLEASE do not electronically republish
any pictures or files.
Some files themselves are copyrighted because they have been submitted to the "World Family Tree Project"
and are available for purchase commercially on CD from Broderbund.
As to the photos, some are low quality scans for the purpose of ID only and we do not wish
to propogate them in that form. If you see a photo you would like to republish, you may either link to our page,
or send in a request specifying the format and size and we will get the best possible scan and e-mail it to
you for republication free of charge.
Submissions:
If you have pictures to contribute but do not wish to let the originals out of your possession, there are several
options for you to use.
Have them copied at one of those "while you wait" mall photoshops.
Simply lay them out on an ordinary coin operated photocopier and print them out on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper. Experiment
with contrast settings and make two copies. Write the names on one copy and send us both copies. The quality can come out
surprisingly well and it's real cheap.
Scan them yourself and send in .bmp, .pcx, .gif, or .jpg format. You can E-mail the files if they do not exceed
ONE MB. Try to size your image to around 600 X 400. It is best if the viewer only has to scroll vertically or horizontally
but not both to see the whole image.
Send your images to: Bensinger, C/O Stone Cabin Technologies 4423 Wilawana Road Elmira, NY 14901-9536
Or E-mail to: (see above)
If you have pictures that you think are Bensingers but cannot ID them, send them anyway with your E-mail address, others viewing
the page may be able to shed some light. Please do not throw pictures away because they are not identified. Someone, somewhere knows
who they are and that is why we are here.
Pictures of low quality or small size are welcomed. We have software that can make faces identifiable even if they are so small
that you can't make them out in the original. Also we can take out scratches, stains, spots and other defects. Even if they are terrible
they can often help to ID someone else's perfect condition original and you can get a copy of that!
If there is ANYTHING written on the picture, especially photographer location, please mention it.
