Joseph STROCK was born in 1748. He died in 1815.
On your website, listing the children of Antonius Bensinger, it says that Elizabeth Bensinger's husband, Joseph Strock died in 1815. That is not true. In 1815, Joseph and Elizabeth were living in Perry County, Pa. Although at that time he was over 60 yrs. old, he gathered his children and grandchildren and they moved to Austintown, Mahoning County, OH. Joseph Strock died in Austintown Twp. in the summer of 1832. The Strock Reunion is still being held near Austintown at Southington, OH the 1st Sunday of August. A book listing their descendants was first published abt. 1933, the 2nd book was published in 1984. The latest update is available on CD from Robert E. Strock of Dalton, OH.
