Says...." Daniel, Jacob, and Frederick Bensinger were among the first settlers
and helped erect the first log cabins. Probably 1780-1820
Frederick served in the War for Independence.
Received patent of 500 acres in Bensinger's Valley, Schuylkill Co., Pa.
