I'm not sure off-hand about the church connection, but my grx2grandparents were George and Carolina Bensinger too. I descend from their daughter, Fyetta who married Joshua Fahl, my grandfather's father. Fyetta is buried at St. John's Church Cemetery in Auburn. See my webpage for details of my Fahl line.
