I found the following entry under Schuylkill Surnames on the PA Genweb site.
BENSINGER, George, b. 1824 d. 4-21-1905. His funeral was held at the home of his daughter, Lizzie Bensinger Sterner (Mrs. Aaron), on Canal St., Schuylkill Haven, PA. He is buried in Drehersville Cemetery. Married Carolina Klingeman b. 1826 d. 1872. Meu1143@aol.com
Do you know whether George might be related to my 2nd G Grandfather, Moses Bensinger b. c 1850-1853, m. Sophia Hain. They were listed in the 1890 Schy. Co. census for St. Clair, along with Moses 18, Eliza (who my mother said was called Lizzie), Rebecca, Charles, and Mandie.
